APPLICATION ELIGIBILITY:
In order to be considered for a Father Josaphat Jean Foundation Scholarship, the applicant (hereafter referred to as the “Applicant”) must satisfy all of the following minimum eligibility criteria:
- Be of Ukrainian Catholic origin
- Be a resident of the Province of Quebec

Satisfy the eligibility criteria for the relevant application category:

Ukrainian High School: Graduate of a Ukrainian High School located in the Province of Quebec, within twelve (12) months of the application date

High School: Graduate of a High School located in the Province of Quebec, within twelve (12) months of the application date

CEGEP: Graduate of a CEGEP located in the Province of Quebec, within twelve (12) months of the application date

Vocational Education: Graduate of a vocational program recognized by the Ministry of Education from a school board or private institution located in the Province of Quebec, within twelve (12) months of the application date

University (Undergraduate):
- Enrolled in a full-time undergraduate program at a University, in the twelve (12) months leading up to the application date; or
- Graduate of a full-time undergraduate program at a University, within twelve (12) months of the application date

University (Graduate):
- Enrolled in a full-time graduate program at a University, in the twelve (12) months leading up to the application date; or
- Graduate of a full-time graduate program at a University, within twelve (12) months of the application date
EVALUATION CRITERIA:
Applications will be evaluated on the following criteria:
- Academic results
- Community involvement
- Mandatory in-person interview (applicable to Applicants in the CEGEP, Vocational and University categories)
Scholarships will be awarded to successful Applicants at the annual Father Josaphat Jean Foundation banquet. Successful Applicants will be required to attend the banquet in order to receive their scholarship.
APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS:
Prior to beginning the application process, please ensure that you have the following:
- Ministère de l’Éducation du Québec (“MEQ”) official transcript (High School, CEGEP, Vocational) or official University transcript
- Curriculum Vitae
- Passport-style formal photo (from the shoulders up, minimum 600 x 600 pixels)
Note: Applicants are eligible for a maximum six (6) scholarships (in any combination of categories) from the Father Josaphat Jean Foundation throughout their academic career.
